Case Studies

Collection of embedded food systems case studies from Europe as educational tools

Examples of embedded food systems from different counties in Europe will be collected and described, and summarised in a manual to be used as a teaching tool.

This will include cases presented by students during the GOODFOOD Intensive Study Programmes. The guidelines on how to perform embedded food systems analysis will be created by the GOODFOOD consortium, and will be tested during the planned project educational activities. Students enrolled to the GOODFOOD educational activities will be introduced to the task, and will be working individually on the selected embedded food systems cases from their home regions during the e-learning phase of the project, guided by the lecturers. The developed case study analyses will be presented by the students during the Intensive Study Programmes, and feedback of the lecturers will be collected and provided to students. The GOODFOOD consortium will revise selected, best case study reports and presentations and build them into a manual, to be further disseminated and used as a teaching tool.

The GOODFOOD consortium is now working on this task.
When completed, the catalogue of innovative teaching practices and best teaching tips
